• Do Not Drink … Play!

    [ English ]

If you like to have a cocktail every so often, leave your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your evening bag, your wallet, and keep all cash, credit cards and checkbooks out of the casino. Pack only the cash you expect to spend on refreshments, tipping and few dollars you intend to throw away and keep the remainder behind.

Pessimistic? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You might experience a win after a inebriated night out with your acquaintances and be blessed sufficiently to catch a long roll at a on fire craps table. Keep that account because it is as brief as it gets if you regularly drink and gamble. These activities simply do not go well together.

Leaving your money out of the casino might be a little dramatic, but defensive actions for excessive behavior is essential. If you gamble to win, then don’t drink and gamble. If you are able to afford to be wasteful with your money without a concern, then consume all the free beer you can handle, but do not pack plastic credit and cheques to toss into the mix of going after squanderings after your bombed head squanders everything!

Permit me to carry this 1 step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then hop on to the internet to gamble in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my condominium, but seeing that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink and bet.

How come? Although I don’t drink to excess, once I consume alcohol, it is certainly enough to blur my better judgment. I gamble, so I don’t consume alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, do not wager when you do. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and costly, cocktail.
